ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support - In Person Class
Description :
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is the pre-eminent resuscitation course for the recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies. This advanced course builds on the foundation of basic life support (BLS) skills and takes healthcare provider training to the next level. Learners can expect practice and training in high-performance team dynamics and communication, systems of care, immediate post-cardiac arrest care, acute dysrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes. This course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other advanced cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in hospital and pre-hospital settings. To become certified you must pass the skills and a written exam with a 84% to pass the class.
Card issuing process
Upon completing this class, you will be issued a ACLS card from the American Heart Association within 24 - 48 hours. Your card should arrive in your email within 24 to 48 hours. Please call your instructor for any concerns at 404-620-1000.
Book
If you select the option for a E-Book, please allow 48 hours for the E-Book link to be emailed to you. Be sure to give yourself ample time to receive the E-Book and study before taking the class. Hard copy books can be purchased for $48. Arrangements can be made with instructor to pick up your book at the office. American Heart Association does require that students have access to a book to assist with the student learning. However, you are not required to purchase your book from Quick CPR, if you already have access to a current book.

After booking your course you will be emailed precourse work instructions to complete before class. There will be videos and literature for you to review in detail before you arrive to the class. You must pass the precourse assessments with 80% before you arrive to class. You must print a copy of the precourse exam results that you pass with a 80% and bring a copy with you to class. You will not be able to take the class without completing and passing the precourse assessment with 80% and providing a copy of the results.
In order for your instructor to know you will be attending the class you must book and pay through this site. It is the student responsibility to know which class they need.
